To assist you with your new home journey, our team of expert construction and design specialists at Hoot Homes are on hand for every decision, big or small, to help create your dream home.

A great way to start your journey with Hoot Homes is a visit to one of our display homes, located in Marsden Park, Box Hill, Catherine Park, and Willowdale, where you will be able to experience everything a Hoot Home has to offer.

By visiting our displays, you are able to look through our designs and take your time with a personalised walk-through, accompanied by one of our expert Sales Consultants. We have a clear selection of options and choices available for each of our homes, which ensure an easy and enjoyable home-building experience.

Our easy, four-stage approach is simple and hassle-free. You can start building quickly and have confidence that you’ll have a quality home packed with features without headaches along the way.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the current listed base house price and promotional offer (if applicable).

  • $1,500 for a Greenfield
  • $2,000 for a Knock Down Rebuild

This is the point where you will be asked to provide us with a copy of your Land Contract and Hoot Homes will check your new home design for compliance with requirements of your Land, Developer, Council and Statutory Authorities, as well as Australian Standards and National Construction Code.

Once you have made the payment of your deposit, we are able to start work preparing your Tender.

 One of our Customer Service Representatives (CSR) will be in touch with you as soon as your paperwork is with our Head Office.

They’ll confirm your booking for your Tender and Contract Presentation Meeting.

This is a very important meeting and there is a lot to review. As such, please allow approximately three hours to finalise your tender and house plans.

Each aspect of the planning and estimating process and required payments for your new home build are brought together for your review and sign off during this very important meeting. The Tender itself incorporates all of the selections, modifications, upgrades, fittings and finishes that you have confirmed to date.

This meeting will take place at the Hoot Homes Gregory Hills Head Office. Appointments are available Monday to Friday during office hours.

Your Tender and Contract Presenter will schedule the Contract signing and payment, which in most cases can be combined with your Tender Acceptance Meeting at Hoot Homes' Head Office.

Once you have confirmed and accepted your Hoot Homes Tender, a non-refundable deposit of $5,000 is required that will enable Hoot Homes to prepare the New Home Building Contract documentation.

A copy of our Standard Building Contract will be provided to you by your dedicated CSR before your Tender and Contract Acceptance Meeting. Please take the time to review this contract thoroughly and ask any questions before your Contract signing.

In your Tender Acceptance / Contract signing meeting, you will be given your personalised New Home Building Contract, with all the specifics of your new home outlined in specific detail.

Please ensure that each person listed on the Contract is at this meeting to sign the Contract documentation. Upon signing your New Home Building Contract, you’ll be required to pay a balance of 10% deposit, less the initial payment already made.

From this point and beyond, no structural or façade changes are permitted to your build.

In order to deliver a hassle-free, quality home, as well as keeping costs to a minimum, Hoot Homes does not customise our floorplans as standard. However, some modifications are availalbe on specific designs. To find out more, contact us

However, if you would like to make upgrades to your home fixtures and fittings, including tiles, tapware, lighting and more – you can pay a fee of $500 to book an appointment in the Canvas Quarter Selection studio. Canvas Quarter allows you to explore a range of upgrade options available with an experienced Interior Design Consultant.

Canvas Quarter is our dedicated, state-of-the-art interior and exterior design studio who are here to help you turn your dream home into your everyday reality. The CQ showroom is located right next door to the Hoot Homes Gregory Hills Head Office. Appointments are available Monday to Friday during office hours.

 Before we can start on site, you will need to provide the following:

  • Finance Approval in the form of an Unconditional Letter of Authority to Commence Construction.
  • Written confirmation from your finance provider that funds are ready to be released for construction progress payments.
  • Council bonds paid if applicable.

To avoid any delays, please ensure your land is clear of rubbish and debris and ready for construction to commence. We also need confirmation that Hoot Homes have all the essential signed paperwork.

The time for each new home build varies depending on your specific block, chosen home design any modifications to the plans, landscaping requirements, specific council and required approvals.
